E-sign,
secure and efficient
digital software XML solutions.
|
-
E-sign is another term used for
electronic signature. Used more in the context of web based signing vs.
desktop application based.
This is important for efficient
electronic documents that pass through multiple intermediaries, allowing
the secure information to be open, read and then retransmitted while
preserving the validity of the E-sign embedded in the
information.
E-sign,
Leading Internet
security companies and top industry standards-setting bodies have
settled on a more flexible way to verify electronic signatures for
documents sent over the Web.
|
The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the
E-sign standards setting body founded by Web inventor said that
the agreement would help Internet users to more safely share documents,
fill out forms and trade images and other media. The W3C group said the
so-called XML-Signature Syntax and Processing standard is now ready to
be incorporated into new products and services from companies such as
Microsoft, IBM, and scores of other security software developers.
Digital signatures are created and verified using cryptography, the
science of encoding and un-encoding data.
